Free or paid: clear from the start.

Every activity is offered by a person or an organisation. Many will be free; others will have a price set by whoever posts them: a workshop, a guided outing, a show ticket. The price will always be shown before you sign up, with no surprises.

The marketplace will be for adults and families. Younger people will be able to join family or supervised activities, signed up and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Minors won’t have accounts of their own and can’t be contacted directly.

    We plan to verify profiles, so everyone knows who they’re sharing a moment with.

    Simple, public rules: respect, kindness, honesty. Breaking them will have clear consequences.

    A button to report an activity or a behaviour, and a team to review every report.

  • Tips for meeting up

    Meet in a public place, tell someone close, keep conversations in the app: we’ll remind you at the right time.

  • Privacy by design

    As little data as possible, never sold, in line with Québec’s Law 25 and Canadian law.

  • Secure payments

    For paid activities, we’ll rely on recognised payment providers: we will never see your card number.

When will the marketplace launch?

We’re working on it. People on the waitlist will be the first to know, and may get to try it before everyone else.

Where will it be available?

We’ll start in Québec, then open to other regions. Add your city when you sign up: it helps us decide.

Is this a dating site?

No. Friendealer is about sharing activities and passions, as friends. It is not a romantic dating service.

How much will it cost?

We plan for signing up and browsing activities to be free. The price of a paid activity will be set by the person or organisation offering it, and shown before you sign up.

Can I host an activity?

Yes, that’s the whole idea. Individuals, clubs, charities and professionals will be able to post activities, under clear rules.
